    目前，大多數的酒店都采用代理的形式進(jìn)行產(chǎn)品銷(xiāo)售，一般與中介方簽訂代理合同，由其進(jìn)行代理營(yíng)銷(xiāo)，而且所占比例非常大。從百度搜索“訂房”用時(shí)0.001秒，搜索出10600000篇相關(guān)網(wǎng)頁(yè)，從Google搜索“訂房”，用時(shí)0.05秒，搜索出2510000項結果，其他搜索引擎的情況也大同小異。從搜索引擎里反映出：訂房網(wǎng)絡(luò )基本上是中介一統天下。在國內，酒店自建網(wǎng)站且能自營(yíng)網(wǎng)上預訂的比例很低，這正是我們與國際酒店的最大差距之一，也為第三方預訂網(wǎng)的發(fā)展帶來(lái)了巨大的空間。
    海外以Expenia、Travelocity、Priceline、Hotel Discount等旅游網(wǎng)站為代表的中介預訂網(wǎng)已取得了很大的成功；國內以攜程、藝龍為代表的網(wǎng)上旅行社顯示了快速發(fā)展的勢頭。

    酒店網(wǎng)上直銷(xiāo)就是酒店通過(guò)自己的網(wǎng)站進(jìn)行酒店網(wǎng)絡(luò )營(yíng)銷(xiāo)活動(dòng)。據統計，萬(wàn)豪、希爾頓通過(guò)自有網(wǎng)站的直接銷(xiāo)售收入與通過(guò)網(wǎng)上中介的間接銷(xiāo)售收入之比已經(jīng)高達75:25.而對消費者來(lái)說(shuō)，他們也不愿意在中間商那里多花錢(qián)，而更喜歡直接訂房。因為他們認為高質(zhì)量的服務(wù)職能來(lái)自于酒店形象設計酒店的本身。
